Measurement plan
We create a measurement plan to set out how we’ll measure something, to see if it’s working.
Definition
Individuals or teams create a measurement plan to set out how they’ll measure something, to see if it’s working. It’s how they apply a performance measurement framework in practice.
It may be a specific piece of content; a wider initiative, campaign or project; or a group of content based on shared attributes, for example, a content type.
A measurement plan consists of a purpose, goals, hypotheses, measures, metrics and data sources. Once the individual or team executes a measurement plan, they will create a report to share its progress with colleagues, stakeholders and management.
See the detailed guide for how to create a measurement plan.
